报告人简介:美国德克萨斯大学健康自然科学中心微生物与免疫系终身教授,美国圣安东尼奥疫苗研究中心主任,担任美国国家健康研究院(NIH)多学科研究项目评委以及ScienceNaturePNASJEM等多种学术期刊的评阅人,2018-2020年担任Infection and Immunity编委。

学术贡献:(1)首次发现衣原体通过生殖道向消化道传播的新途径;(2)衣原体免疫和感染机制;(3)揭示衣原体蛋白水解酶类物质-CPAF 功能。以上三大研究领域累计发表高水平SCI文章100余篇,引用次数超过3500多次。同时钟光明教授为国内高校和研究机构培养衣原体研究领域人才30多名。
